We had an incredible experience working with Amanda Kolman, the Processing Manager at Summit Home Lending. From start to finish, Amanda’s communication was absolutely top-notch. She was always available. Whether by text, phone, or email, she consistently kept us in the loop every step of the way.
No question went unanswered, and no update was ever delayed. She made what could’ve been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. On the other hand, My experience working with Joel Douglas, the Loan Officer at Summit Home Lending was mixed. While we did eventually get through the loan process, communication was a consistent issue throughout. I often had to follow up multiple times to get updates, and there were long periods where I wasn’t sure where things stood. This lack of communication made the process more stressful than it needed to be.
I was hoping for a more proactive approach and clearer guidance along the way. Unfortunately, the level of client service didn’t meet my expectations. I believe there's room for improvement in terms of keeping clients informed and engaged throughout such an important transaction.
Hopefully, with better communication practices, future clients will have a smoother experience.”
